Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5, 1956, in Woodland Hills California. Her family consisted of a mother who was an housewife, and her father who worked as a teacher. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick started dancing and singing from a young age, and frequently performed plays with puppets for the kids in her community. McCormick won in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was then contacted via Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to join the business of show production. McCormick had her first significant job when she was cast in the 1964 television commercial of Mattels newest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. That same year, she was featured in another commercial that aired on TV for the doll Chatty Cathy. The following year, McCormick was chosen by La Jolla Playhouse to play the part of the character It up until It breaks. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected out of a crowd of over 1200 children who auditioned for the role of the oldest of three towheaded girls on the brand new TV show The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with the family of a blended couple. This show lasted for five seasons. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008 McCormick revealed how during the fifth season of the TV show she almost lost virginity with her twin brother Barry Williams. She was 16 years old at the time while he was. The incident would have happened according to her. But, the time for our relationship wasn't right.
