Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she took flute lessons and harpsichord for three years. The money she earned came from the student allowance, and relied off on a part-time job to supplement her funds. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy about her performances in comparison to the other students. She started to think about other options. Lennox started out as musician with the group Dragons Playground. The group broke up prior to their appearance in I.T.V's talents program New Faces. She was the vocalist for The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. This is where she first got to know Dave Stewart with whom she would form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her solo debut album Diva that was out in 1992. This album became a huge achievement as well as sales and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a social activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. The group went on through the 1980s to form the popular duo Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox launched a solo career by releasing her debut album Diva which yielded numerous successful songs, such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album released in 1995, has versions of some of her biggest hits, such as the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). Her six studio solo albums as well as her compilation album have a lot of tracks.
